Blizzard of 2016 means I'm home with the kids! But that doesn't stop me from taking photos. Here are a few of my littles and the neighbor playing in the white stuff.

This third grader doesn't normally like to get in front of the camera, but today decided he was ready to make it happen. We had a lot of fun in the studio trying different looks, lighting, and expressions, and at the end he thanked me and called me an artist. Just... wow.

This beautiful family has been waiting for baby #2 for a long time, and their little girl could not be more excited to become a big sister! It was such a pleasure to work with them in my studio to capture these precious memories.

I started my business as a "shoot and burn" photographer, delivering my images digitally in most cases. But too many people (myself included!) are guilty of keeping most of our photos hidden away on our computer, a CD, or a USB thumb drive stashed in a drawer. Enough! Our precious photos... our MEMORIES... belong on our walls and desks and coffee tables where we can see them every day. 

I want to do better. No longer will my clients meet up for a quick photo session and just get a link to download their images. Starting this month, I am transitioning to a full service photographer. What will that mean?

We will develop a relationship. We will chat before the photo session so you can get comfy with me, and I can learn exactly what you're hoping to achieve. We'll talk about how and where you'll display your images. What kinds of clothes to wear. What the session will be like. 

We'll have so much fun during your photo session! And a couple weeks later, we'll meet up for a Reveal and Ordering Session where you'll see your photos for the first time in a gorgeous slideshow. I'll help you sort through photos to pick the keepers, and you'll get to see and touch fine art product samples including prints on metal, prints behind acrylic, canvases hung from reclaimed wood, heirloom albums, and more. I'll help your through the zero-pressure ordering process. And when your art arrives from the pro labs, you'll either pick them up at my studio in Ardmore, or I'll deliver them to your door. 

Many of my clients become my friends, and I want my friends to be thrilled and walk away with memories that will last generations. 

And so, in celebration my transition to full service photography, I am announcing one of the cool new products I'm offering. (Check back soon for more products!)

Last Newborn of 2015

Baby it's cold out, but I'm happy and warm in my studio and coworking space, working on my last newborn edits from 2015. I just want to nibble on this little girls toes, she's so scrumptious!

I just loved working with this beautiful family in their gorgeous apartment. Great light, decor, and a relaxed morning made for a fantastic lifestyle newborn session.

Main Line Philadelphia Family and Child Photographer | Those eyes!

These shots are from one of my fall family sessions at Haverford College. Take a close look at these little girl's eyes - aren't they amazing?!?! Just gorgeous.

This was one of those sessions where mom and dad thought the kids were behaving terribly, but they were just adorable. It's so funny how we're so nervous about our kids' behavior during important moments, when really... they're just being kids! I do the same thing... when out at a restaurant or in another adults' house, I always feel like my kiddos are being little monsters. Maybe sometimes they are. But anyway, I digress...

What I'm trying to say is... relax. 80% of my parents think their kids are being terrible, and (aside from a couple of 2 year old toddlers... because... well, being 2 is hard) these kids are almost always great. Let me play and be goofy with the kids, and we'll become fast buddies. We WILL get those smiles and cute moments. :-)

I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family, 7 day newborn, and their pup a couple weeks back, and my what a pretty family they are! A modern home with great light sure didn't hurt either. I definitely seem to be gravitating to the lifestyle rather than posed style of newborn photography, and hope to see many more clients like this in the coming year.

Pucci Manuli (a most awesome toy store on Cricket Ave in Ardmore, PA), along with a pile of other fantastic local businesses, puts on a beautiful annual outdoor holiday shopping festival called the Cricket Cringle. This year I got to be the official photographer - how special am I? If there was a stage, I totally could have gotten backstage. Anyhoo... here are a sampling of shots from the event.
