I've seriously lucked out with some beautiful, love-filled families and amazing fall weather this month! I joined this adorable couple and their almost one year old baby boy at Appleford Estate in Villanova, PA for a family session right before sunset. The little one was so content to sit and play with leaves, smile at the camera, and enjoy being in his parents arms.

Mother Nature has given us some absolutely gorgeous fall weather for family photos this week! I met up with this adorable group at Haverford College, and I think we're all in love with how the images turned out. Golden hour, the leaves turning, the light glistening, and a big sister and little brother who are the best friends in the world. Who could ask for more?

Yesterday I had my first dog model session with the cutest, fluffiest rescue pup. I also got to meet his owner whom I've known online via the Main Line Parent Facebook group for years, but never had the pleasure of meeting in person before yesterday. Mac the dog happily nibbled on treat after treat, and we all had a lovely time playing, chatting, and taking photos.
I just got back from a vacation with my family to Watkins Glen, New York and Niagara Falls, Ontario. Travel photography is a major passion of mine; sadly my kids didn't share my patience and I wasn't able to spend nearly as much time as I'd have preferred with nature, a tripod, and my camera (in fact, the tripod stayed at home). But here are a few images I was able to capture. Enjoy!
Last week I had the pleasure of being welcomed into this family's home to take pictures of mom, dad, and 3 brothers -- ages 6, 3, and just 10 days old. We spent 3 hours together with plenty of time to feed baby, snuggle his adorable sleeping self (he was SOOOO good), roughhouse with the older boys, and find many moments for sweet portraits. Mom's package came with 10 digital images, but she was so happy that she upgraded to 75 more -- lucky them, lucky me! :-) I just loved working with this family, and hope you enjoy these images as much as we all do.
The summer is almost over - how is that possible??? I've been busy with more photo sessions of cute kids, loving parents, and gorgeous warm days. Here are some of my latest. The first set was shot at Appleford Estate in Villanova; the second was shot in the family's backyard.
I've always loved architecture and interior design, and being able to capture gorgeous homes is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. I recently got my hands on an $1800 tilt-shift 24mm lens for the architectural shoot of this Villanova home shown in the gallery below; I'm hoping to add more stunning homes to my portfolio soon. Based right outside Philadelphia on the Main Line in Ardmore, PA, I'm happy to travel up to an hour for architectural photo shoots (more if my schedule and travel allowances permit). My goal is to provide stunning, high resolution images worthy of Houzz, Dwell Magazine, advertising, etc.

Last month a friend (who is a doula) hosted an annual client picnic, and asked me to come run mini sessions. We had a great time, took some fun shots (in a challenging small park), and it also provided inspiration leading to my Private Mini Photo Session Parties.
