Introducing Private Mini Photo Session Parties | Philadelphia and Main Line Family and Portrait Photographer

Are you planning a family reunion, a big playdate, or just looking for a reason to get a bunch of friends or loved ones together? You can have Aliza Schlabach come to your event and run photography mini sessions at no cost to you. And bonus... the host gets a FREE photo session!

Photographers sometimes host back-to-back mini sessions a couple times per year to keep costs down for clients and profits reasonable for themselves. But now YOU can choose to host a PRIVATE event where the photographer comes to you.

Maybe you are planning an event where your friends, family, clients, or associates might also be interested in getting photos taken. Pictures of your children at a big playdate or mom's meetup. Individual family photos at a reunion or BBQ. Headshots at a networking event.

Or perhaps you've hosted or been to a tupperware party, jewelry party, etc? Now there's another fun and economical reason to get friends or family together: private mini photo session parties.

The details:

  • I set up an info page just for your event with details and available time slots.

Family Photo Session in the Gardens | Main Line Philadelphia Family Photographer

This morning I had the pleasure of taking photos for a family of four at the gorgeous Appleford Estate in Villanova, PA. "E", the cute little two year old redhead, was happy as long as she could move around and explore, so it was a fun shoot with lots of running around. Her one month old baby sister was chill and content, and everyone enjoyed the gorgeous scenery and taking our our time capturing the moments on a beautiful, warm and sunny morning. My assistant Tasha did a great job of keeping harsh sunlight out of everyone's faces, and we ended up with a lovely collection of lifestyle and posed images.

Where the Wild Things Are | Main Line Philadelphia Event & Portrait Photographer

This weekend I was lucky enough to attend an EPIC fusion & blues costume dance party with a "Where the Wild Things Are" theme. I took a bunch of quick photos inside (in REALLY low ambient light), and then set up my speedlight and umbrella outside on the lawn for some fun portraits, using my flashlight to set focus in the dark. The party was such a blast, and it was so much fun to be able to capture these kinds of images.

The School Fair | Main Line Philadelphia Event Photographer

Yesterday was my kids' school fair, and after a quick chat with the school principal and the Home and School Association, I turned into the semi-official event photographer. I got some wonderful images that I hope the school will use and/or share with parents, but sadly I don't have minor model releases so I can't post most of them myself. What I can share with you are the photos of my own adorable littles (I'm not biased. Am I biased?) and some of the pulled back shots that show the event at large. It was really fun just wandering through the crowd and capturing little moments and happy faces; I hope I get more events on my calendar.
